He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Schliewe and Esther Schliewe; his daughter Deborah Schliewe; his siblings, Lorna, Norman, Franklin and Vernon; his siblings-in-law, Herbert Heller, Harry Phelps, Barbara, June and Rosemary Phelps; his daughter-in-law Barbara Schliewe; and his grandson Jason Schliewe.
He is survived by: his wife Lila Mae (Wegner); his sons, Daniel Schliewe of Granite Bay and Darrell Schliewe of Juneau, WI.; his grandson Michael Schliewe (Susana); his great grandchild Micheal; and his stepgrandchildren, Dulcinea, Amanda, Christopher and Ben Gala Viz. He is also survived by step-grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many good friends.
