He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dittmann and Helen Dittmann (Meyer); his wife Barbara Jurick; and his siblings, William Dittmann, Arthur Dittmann, Clarence Dittmann, Esther Lewis, Marion King, George Dittmann and John Dittmann.

He is survived by: his son Joe Dittmann (Cory); his grandchildren, Laira and Mason; his son Mike Dittmann (Julie); his grandchildren, Kayla and Kelsey; his children, Pat Dittmann and Sue Will (Gary); his grandsons, Hunter and Sam; and his great grandchild Brooklynn. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church in Watertown.
