With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Germaine M. Hanke (Watertown, Wisconsin), born in Elcho, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 4, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Freisleben and Louise Freisleben; her spouse Russell Hanke (Buck); her children, Judy Borchardt (Lyle) of Watertown and Edd Hanke (Jane) of Menomonie, WI.; and her grandchildren, Lisa Kohls (Darrin), Robb Borchardt (Brenda), Lori Reichert (Matthew), Amanda Grover (Dustin) and Lauren Hanke. She was also cherished by ten great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandsons as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorials can be directed to Rainbow Hospice, VFW #3709 Auxiliary or to the charity of one's choice.
