Franklin H. Griep Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Franklin H. Griep in Watertown, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Griep and Marie Griep; his wife Nancy Doubleday; his siblings, Frances Jones (Don), Dave Griep (Margaret) and Edward Griep; and his grandson-in-law Ethan Kollman.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Griep (Laurie) of Fort Atkinson, Tony Griep of Watertown, Cindy Hell of DeForest, Debby Kitsembel (Bob) of Jefferson and Becky Lauersdorf (Tim) of Fond du Lac; and his grandchildren, Larissa Asmus (Jason), Staci Hell, Kacey Larsen, Jeremy Pooler (Brittany), Laura Fischer (Jared), Jordan Griep, Joshua Lauersdorf (Jaymee), Karissa McDowell, Shawn Griep, Brett Kitsembel (Kasi), Sarah Ott, Melissa Kollmann and Andrew Kitsembel. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hafemeister Funeral Home (611 E Main St, Watertown, WI 53094). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1540 E Main St, Watertown, WI 53094).
