He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Stai Sr. and Anita Wickert; his siblings, Ruth Ann Eisfeldt, Thomas Stai and James Stai; and his stepparents, Palmer Wickert and Mildred Wickert.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Stai; his daughter Jennifer Von Rueden (Paul "Rudy"); his stepgrandchildren, Richelle Elder (Arthur) and Wesley Von Rueden (Cassie); his siblings, Robert Stai and Judy Soto (Geno); his sisters-in-law, Diane Stai and Susan Stai; and his pet Sassy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to the family.
