She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Kucken and Esther Kucken (Schroeder); her husband Preceding; her stepfather Walter Gillis; her daughter Barbara; her son-in-law David Sobieralski; her son Robert F. Herbert Jr.; her daughter-in-law Carol Herbert; her grandson Todd Herbert; her siblings, Delbert, Marvin, Robert Kucken and Lucille Gruetzman; and her stepbrother Marvin Gillis.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Herbert (Sandra) of Watertown and Beverly Fulmer (James) of Oconomowoc, WI; and her sister Betty Smillie. She is also survived by five grandsons, five granddaughters, three step-grandsons, ten great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Lakeside Lutheran High School, Lake Mills, or a charity of one's choice.
