He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Pitterle and Anna Pitterle (Frodl); and his sisters, Margaret Murrow (Tom) and Ruth Pitterle. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Pitterle; and his sons, Michael Pitterle (Brenda) of Verona, David Pitterle (Karen) of Waukesha and James Pitterle (Paula) of Shakopee, MN. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Agrace Hospice Care or to the church.
