It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor P. Hertel of Watertown, Wisconsin, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Taranto and Adeline Taranto; her husband Charles "Chuck" A. Hertel; and her children, Victoria Neitzel and David Higgins.

She is survived by: her daughter Dawn Zillmer of Watertown; her grandsons, David Neitzel (Dana), Tony Zillmer and Timmy Zillmer; and her great grandchildren, Lilly Neitzel, Charlie Neitzel, Amelia Neitzel, Bentley Zillmer and Maverick Zillmer. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorials, if desired, may be directed to St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Bernard Catholic Church, or the charity of one's choice.
