It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward M. Zubke Jr. of Watertown, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sr. Zubke and Ida Zubke; his brother Earl; his stepson Michael Chwala (Karen); his siblings-in-law, Fred Dieter and Ellen Fischer; and his close friends, Dick and Mary Savatski.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wineland; his sons, Dale Zubke (Dawn) and Dean Zubke (Karrie); his stepsons, Kenneth Chwala (Rosemary) of Watertown and Patrick Chwala (Holly) of Watertown; his grandchildren, Ashley Moll (Andy), Joshua, Noah (Erin), Adam, Brianna and Madison Zubke; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Zubke, Margaret Dieter, Arnold Fischer and Donald Wineland (Lynn). He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (615 Jones St, Watertown, WI 53094). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM.
Memorials may be directed to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Rainbow Hospice, Aurora Hospice, or the charity of one's choice.
