He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Schefft and Jean H. Schefft (Hartshorn); his brother Bruce Schefft; and his sister-in-law Kate Schefft. He is survived by: his wife Kristine Schefft; his stepchildren, Stephen Thomas (Julie), Kathleen Bostelmann (Bobby) and Quinn Thomas (Maria); his grandchildren, Maggie, Lucy, Paul, Caroline and Eleanor; his brother Karl Schefft; his niece Lizzy; his nephews, Charlie, Alex and Jack; and his sister-in-law Melanie Schefft. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Church Health Services or to Ebenezer Moravian Church for their Camp Scholarship Fund would be appreciated by the family.
