He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Stuart and Carolyn Stuart; his son Adam; and his siblings, Danny and Sandy.

He is survived by: his wife Beth Stuart; his son David Stuart (Melinda); his grandchildren, Lily and Charles Stuart of Hales Corners, WI; and his sister Ellen Lender (Delmar) of Grinnell, Iowa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
