He is survived by: his wife Nancy Schubert Helms; his children, Denton Helms (Christina) and DeAnna Helms Considine (David); his grandchildren, Hailey Helms, Della Considine, Austin Helms, Davis Considine and Dottie Considine; and his siblings, Debbie Helms Love (Mark), Danny Helms, Darlene Helms Lopez (Emilio), Dawn Helms Scheff (Guy) and Jesse Helms. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
