With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Don W. Kuehl (Watertown, Wisconsin), born in Lebanon, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 12, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Armand Kuehl and Adeline Kuehl (Budewitz); his parents-in-law, Martin and Viola Genz; his brothers, Roger and Charles Kuehl; and his siblings-in-law, Hilbert Genz, Evelyn Genz, Arletta, Elmer Lauersdorf, Richard Schwartz, Eugene Genz, Robert Genz, Isabel, Donald Kurtz and Roland Ruckdaschel.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his children, Mike (Linda), Scott (Sue), Todd (Pam), Thomas (Michelle) and Mary Funseth (Dale); his grandchildren, Robert Kuehl (Tracy), Heather Stensaas (Tyler), Hannah, Zachary Kuehl, Lyndsey Tilot (Craig), Korin Kuehl, Gabrielle Kuehl, Shelby Peasley (Dustin), Hayley Funseth and Geena Kuehl; his stepgrandsons, Andy Flint (Toni) and Aaron Flint (Samantha); his siblings, Kathy Porter, Pat Tessmann (James) and Randy Kuehl (Brenda); and his siblings-in-law, Evangeline Kuehl, Armin Genz, Irma Schwartz, Fred Genz, Gordon Genz (Alice), Martin Genz (Chris), Ward Genz (Karen), Dorothy Kasubaski, Doris Ruckdaschel, John Genz (Vicki) and Neal Genz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other friends.
He loved fishing and hosted many fish fry fundraisers for the early childhood center at St. Peter's. Through his passion for woodworking, he donated many items to help raise funds for various causes.
