Daniel R. Garton Obituary
Daniel Garton, 48, passed away on January 13th at his home in Watertown, Wisconsin following a brief illness. Despite his condition, Dan kept his sense of humor and love for those nearest to him until the end. Dan is survived by his mother, Gail Tompkins of Menomonee Falls, his sons, Tanner and Spencer Garton of East Troy and his partner, Terra Starner, of Watertown and their dog Luke. He will be greatly missed by them as well his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Garton, of Milwaukee. Dan was a man of many hobbies and passions including fishing, disc golf, metal detecting, mountain biking and many more. He was an avid reader, a lover of both horror films and Broadway musicals, a fan of hip-hop and barbershop quartets and someone always willing to go on an adventure. It was all these different sides to him as well as a generous heart that brought so many different friends into his life. We will be holding an informal Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 12pm until 2pm at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home, N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave, Menomonee Falls.
