He was predeceased by: his wife Christine; his parents, Eli Huhti (Walter) and Ellen Huhti; and his siblings, Eli "Junior" and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Huhti, Thomas Huhti, Michelle Humphrey (John) and Dale; his brother Russell of Greenland, MI; and his grandson Walter Oford Humphrey (John).
