She was predeceased by: her parents, Friedrich "Fritz" Schnook and Luise Schnook (Etter); her sons, David Mederios and Ernst Mederios; her grandson Eddie Possing; and her brothers, Ernst Schnook and Peter Etter.
She is survived by: her daughter Erika Olson (Todd); and her sister Elsa Lax. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
