Barbara M. Fischer Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara M. Fischer of Watertown, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Swailes and Fannie Swailes (Hawley); her son Glenn (Gunnar); and her sister Patricia. She is survived by: her husband Nelson Fischer; her children, Lynn Mallach (Jeff) and Todd Fischer (Deb); her grandchildren, Jessica (Mike), Garrett (Kristine), Christina (Cody), Bradley, Callahan (Erica), Angel (Seth) and Molly; and her brother Robert Hawley. She is also survived by 10 Great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Watertown Moravian Church (510 Cole St, Watertown, WI 53094). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
She was also a volunteer with many organizations, including many years of Alzheimer's research studies with UW Hospital in Madison.
