He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Schmidt and Anna Schmidt (Fredrick); and his siblings, Marion Christian (Oscar), Velda Wagner (Lester), John Schmidt and Donald Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Linde; his sister Laura Seifert (Marvin); and his sister-in-law Donna Schmidt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home (213 S 5th St, Watertown, WI 53094). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
