James A. Kannenberg Obituary
The passing of James A. Kannenberg of Waterloo, Wisconsin leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 89. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Kannenberg and Mariele Kannenberg; and his former wife Joan. He is survived by: his wife Rita Templeton of Joseph's Catholic Church; his stepdaughter Elizabeth Templeton; his children, Joel of Waterloo, John (Janet) of Janesville, Jane Cunningham (Jim) of Mequon and Jenny Sandmire (Dave) of Waterloo; his grandsons, Paul Kannenberg (Allison), Aaron Sandmire (Audrey Wood), Alex Sandmire, Nathan Cunningham and Joshua Cunningham; and his brother Thomas. He is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (226 E Madison St, Waterloo, WI 53594). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials in Jim's honor to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Waterloo, ELCA World Hunger, or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
