He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest McBride and Esther McBride (Samp); his stepparents, George Kucera and Florence McBride; and his brothers, Jack and George McBride.

He is survived by: his wife Christine Ann Przybylski; his children, Jeffrey McBride (Mary), Jean Reneau (Jai) and Patrick McBride; and his grandchildren, Erin Hensler (Jason), Kevin McBride (Kayla), Theresa Fryjoff (Ryan), Ryan McBride, Nicholas Hubacher (Aimee), Mark Wolff, Christopher McBride and Shawn McBride.
