He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Poetter; his children, Donald Vehlow Jr. (Sonya) and Brenda Meyer (David); his stepson Tory Strauss (Michele); and his grandchildren, Benjamin Vehlow, Taylor Vehlow, Nick Meyer and Trent Meyer.
