With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Chris C. Detert of Waterloo, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his father Milo Detert (Mike); and his in-laws, Robert and Donna Filter. He is survived by: his mother Lorraine Detert (Holzhueter); his wife Kristie Detert (Filter); his daughters, Kinsey Berger (Cody) and Kaylor Wiedenbeck (Mitchell); his grandchildren, Holly and Shepherd Wiedenbeck; his brothers, Curt and Cory; his brother-in-law Jeff Filter (Jill); his nephew Craig Detert (Johanna); his nieces, Nicole Foels (Blaine), Tiarra Detert (Jake Frasher), Rebecca Detert and Samantha Detert; his great-nephews, Pierce Detert and Emmett Foels; his great-niece Everly Rangel; his father-in-law Ralph Duley; and his pets, Gracie and Winter. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John Ev. Lutheran Church - Waterloo (413 E Madison St, Waterloo, WI 53594). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at W11824 Cemetery Rd, Waterloo, WI 53594.
