He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Stangler and Clara Stangler (Kottwitz); his son Randy; his siblings, Ray and Pat; and his sister-in-law Jean Finkler.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Carole; his close friends, Ron and Dianne; his wife Arlene Christman; his children, Jodi Little (Eric) of Lake Mills and John (Lisa) of Cottage Grove; his grandchildren, Katie Schmidt (Brennan), Carley (Zach), Emily, Sabrina (Collin), Abby (Zach), Alison and Ben; and his sisters, Jeanie Schoen and Elaine Riege (Gene). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
