He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Wagner and Hildegard Wagner; his former wife Carol M. Wagner (Suminski); his brother Eddie; and his brother-in-law John Suminski.

He is survived by: his wife Patty J. Wagner; his children, Juliann Christensen (Scott), David Wagner (Renee), Tim Gemoll (Shawnie) and Tony Gemoll (Erin); his grandchildren, Claire Christensen, Nathan Christensen, Shelby Wagner, Caleb Wagner, Samuel Jones, Charlie Jones, Will Jones, Mya Gemoll, Tommy Gemoll, Joey Gemoll, Travis Gemoll and Lilly Gemoll; his sister Rita Larsen (Ed); and his sister-in-law Collette Suminski. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
