He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. Furman and Isabella Furman; and his brothers, Victor and Gregory. He is survived by: his wife Oyuna Furman; his children, Derek (McKenzie), Alec, Jared and Elayna; his stepchildren, Sylvia, Brian and Anuka; his grandchildren, Battushig, Adeline, Emma, Michelle and Saphira; his sister Alice Tangredi; and his nephew Dan Tangredi (Dawn). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
