He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard August and Roselyn Mary Nikolai (Wyk); and his daughter Kristin Mutchler. He is survived by: his wife Peg; his sons, Robert A. (Diana), Thomas (Patricia) and James (Charlene); his grandchildren, Jake, Dana Nikolai, Pete Nikolai (Lydia), Sara Doering (Jimmy), Alison Farm (Jake), Megan, Melissa, Jack Mutchler, Brittany, Nathan, Hunter and Jeromy Nikolai; his great grandchildren, Owen, Hailey, Clara, Ryker and Liam; his sisters, Alice Egan and Audrey Martin; his sisters-in-law, Nancy Cannan and Laurie Hackbarth; and his son-in-law Jack Mutchler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bob's name to Stella Maris Parish, Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Bethel Ev. Free Church, or the Washington Island Lions Club.
