John Parsons Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2020, at the age of 74, John Parsons of Washington Island, Wisconsin, born in Buffalo, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Vincent Parsons and Annette Hatti Parsons (Bartz); and his brother Douglas Frederick Parsons. He is survived by: his wife Kristi Rae Anderson; his sons, Ronald (Patti) and Matthew (Peggy Sue); his grandsons, Jarod and Zach; and his sister Diane Elizabeth Buyer (Dick).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Jack's name to Bethel Ev. Free Church, 1821 Main Rd., Washington Island, WI 54246.

“Kristi and Family, Jack was my best childhood friend. We shared many adventures from the time we were in first grade till our early teens. I spent more time at his house then I spent at home. His mom was like a second mother to me. We had so many times playing, fishing & swimming in Smokes Creek behind his house. His dog Prince was our watchdog that his mother trusted our safety to. Never forget in 3rd grade, taking a hike at recess & coming in 20 min. late. Was a different time then. Miss him.”
