We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2021, at the age of 62, Daniel Nelson of Washington Island, Wisconsin, born in Elmhurst, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oliver Nelson and Dorothy Claire Nelson (Rabito); and his father-in-law Donald Cunningham. He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his children, Courtney Villarreal (Dylan) of Washington Island, WI, Brittany Ball (Tyler) of Brookfield, WI, Hunter Daniel Nelson of Appleton, WI and Rachel Nelson (Oscar Castillo) of Appleton, WI; his grandchildren, Cohen, Joslyn Villarreal, Maverick, Aria Ball and Isla Castillo; his sister Sherrie Amato (Brent) of Bloomingdale, IL; his mother-in-law Meryl Cunningham of New Holstein, WI; and his siblings-in-law, James Cunningham of Wheaton, IL and Wendy Barbeau (Ed) of Port Barrington, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and dear friends.
