He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Martin and Alma Ruth Peterson (Thompson); his wife Barbara L. Kurschner (Buss); and his brother Harold Leroy Peterson. He is survived by: his children, Lori K. Ostman, Todd M. Peterson (Praghna) and Robert W. Peterson (Jenifer); his grandchildren, Tyler Ostman (Stephanie Seymour), Kyle Peterson, Mia Peterson, Abigail Peterson and Gabrielle Peterson; and his daughter Kathleen M. Hamblin (Gingles).
