He is survived by: his mother Carol Wachsmuth (Pechaver); his wife Sheila Defoe; his children, Shaleena Montano (Marcus Carrasco), Chanel Wachsmuth (John Peterson), Michael Wachsmuth (Samantha Beeksma) and Chet Wachsmuth; his siblings, Michael Wachsmuth, Dirk Wachsmuth (Elizabeth) and Tanya Wachsmuth; and his niece Heaven. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, numerous other extended family and friends.
