He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Sr. Pierce and Bertha Pierce (Schroeder); his brothers, Loren Jr. Pierce, Duaine "Black" Pierce, Ronald "Whitie" Pierce and Charles "Jesse" Pierce; his sisters-in-law, Sonja Pierce, Susan Pierce and Grace Pierce; his nephews, Joey Pierce, Dennis Pierce and Paul Wilder; his great-nephew Tyler Pierce; and his brothers-in-law, Ken Gray, Bob Gray and Don Gray.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Gray; his children, Steve Pierce (Tracy) of Warrens, WI, Julie Pierce of Tomah, WI and Joanne Nickels (Matt) of Tomah, WI; his grandchildren, Cassandra, Eric Tollefson and Jarrett Parr; his siblings, Arliss Oliversen (Kjell) of Fair Oaks, TX and Eugene "Buck" Pierce (Mary) of Tomah, WI; his sisters-in-law, Carol Gray, Alice Wilder (LaMonte), Judy Seiler (Bob), LuAnn Eirschele, Linda Gray and Diane Gray; and also Korey Van Kampen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
