He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Beetstra and Grietje Beetstra; his wife Marlene Henning; his daughter Kathy Raye Beetstra; and his brothers, William, Leonard and Jacob.
He is survived by: his sister Grace; his children, Deb Easley (Guy), Bobbie Luckey (Dennis), Cindy Beetstra, Steve Beetstra (Joan) and Jon Beetstra (Dawn); his grandchildren, Ryan Beetstra, Tyler Angell (Griffin), Breanna Karsten, Mallory Spiro (Tom), Averey Heath (Trevor), Tanner Beetstra, Lucas Ritzert (Alayne), Amanda Ritzert-Lium (Tim), Matt Ritzert (Nicole), Maggie Beetstra, Lauren Sperstad (Ben) and Haley LeClaire (Max); his great grandchildren, Alexx, Andie, Ethan, Nicholas, Eli, Oliver, Nora, Gwen, Sophia, Jaxon, Harper, Quinn, Lennox and Hudson; and his caregivers, Natasha, Amy, Lisa and Esther.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Harvard (7100 Harvard Hills Rd, Harvard, IL 60033).
