She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Schultz and Hazel Schultz (Wittmus); her husband James F. Griffing, Sr.; and her brother Kenneth Schultz (Mary). She is survived by: her children, James Griffing, Jr., Jeff Griffing (Kelly), Julie Friestad (John) and Jennifer Griffing-Edwards (Tom Treichel); her grandchildren, Jake, Emma Griffing and Henry Edwards; and her siblings, Terry Schultz (Betsy), Richard "Curly" Hansen, Fran Dreager (Don) and Jeannie Hutchinson (James). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
