He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Mayer; his children, Terry Mayer (Jane) of Darien, WI and Sharon Frey (Larry) of Lake Geneva, WI; his grandchildren, Sydney, Jacob Henke of Darien, Rachael, Nathan (Abbey) and Sara (Yura); his great grandchildren, Thor, Marcas, Haley, Nina and Baby "Bruno"; his brothers, Keith Mayer (Leann) of Coon Rapids, MN and John Mayer (Nancy) of Zumbrota, MN; and his cousins, Guy "Giz" McGlynn and Grant Mayer (Alana). He is also survived by the nieces and nephews.
