Evelyn Jane Griffing Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Jane Griffing of Walworth, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 19, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Charles and Elizabeth Ruth Lhotka (Vlasak); and her sisters, Mary Jan Ryan (Dennis) and Joanne Delby. She is survived by: her husband John H. Griffing; her children, Jane Wilson (Thad), John Griffing (Angie), Cara Pfeiffer (Richard) and Peg Berman; her grandchildren, Thad Jr., Clare, Peter, Anna Wilson, Emily, Lillian, Sarah Griffing, Jack and Madilyn Berman; and her siblings, John Lhotka (Bobbe), Charles Lhotka (Maggie), Margaret Lotito and Linda Zagorski (Mike). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She also volunteered in many organizations over the years including; Girl Scouts, American Heart Association, school PTO and St. Benedict's Ladies Bazaar group.
