He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Behnke; and his sister Judy Wied (Behnke). He is survived by: his mother Beatrice Behnke (Gehrke); his children, Eric E. Behnke (Emily) and Kelli M. Behnke; his wife DeAnn Behnke (Paul); his siblings, Gary (Linda Behnke), Dennis Behnke (Tassy), David Behnke (Annette), Linda Gigl (Jim) and Gail Gutman (Bob); and his grandchildren, Collin Behnke, Ellie Behnke, Meghan Lynch and Jacob Lynch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Due to restrictions caused by COVID-19, the funeral service is reserved for immediate family only.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HAWS and the Kidney Foundation.
