Kathryn E. Effenheim Obituary

Of Wales, entered eternal life peacefully on February 8, 2024 at the age of 96. She is survived by her daughters Michelle and Victoria Arthur, grandchildren Adam (Tiffany) Arthur, Erich Heffner and Katelyn (Alen) Badciong; great-grandchildren Casey, Garrett, Jayden, Aleyna, Liam, and Aoife. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Effenheim, parents John and Katherine Zach, and brother's John, Robert, and Richard Zach.

Kathryn was a secretary at the 440th Airlift Wing in Milwaukee for many years and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urband Development for 29 years. She enjoyed travelling, the outdoors, flowers, taking lots of pictures, and most of all, loved her great-grandkids.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home (930 Main St., Mukwonago) from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Private burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Milwaukee. Memorial to the family for a charity of their choosing. The Family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Lake Country and Brighton Hospice for the care they provided for Kathryn.
