He was predeceased by: his parents, Arend Brink and Juanita Faircloth-Alexander; his sisters, Patricia Allen and Janice Johnson; and his parents-in-law, Dale and Mildred Tibbets.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Tibbets of Waldo; his children, Teri Boley (Mark) of Farmington, NM, Darrick Brink (Kathy) of Oshkosh, WI, Erin Breit (Steven) of West Bend and Michelle Strickland of Clayton, NC; his grandchildren, Cheyenna Boley, Josie Brink, Rachell Wait and William Strickland; his great grandchild Dominick Kolanowski-Brink; his stepgrandchildren, Gayle Komorowski and David Boley; his siblings, Forest Brink (Bud) and Carol Kitchen; and his brother-in-law Richard Tibbets. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, in memory of Jerry donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
