With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Therese M. Fortney of Viroqua, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Therese left this world on November 19, 2024 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Kearney and Ethel Kearney (Leahy); and her siblings, William Kearney, Lawrence Kearney Jr. (Mary Lou), Joseph Kearney, Thomas Kearney (Mary Lee) and Mary Hirschfield (Ronald).
She is survived by: her son Victor Fortney Jr.; and her brothers, John Kearney (Michaelene) of Janesville and Dennis Kearney (Bonnie) of Viroqua. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A burial will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at the St. James Catholic Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home (123 W Decker St, Viroqua, WI 54665).
