He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Stankowski and Julia Stankowski (Goskowicz); his wife Georgiana Rozumialski; his son Carl Stankowski; and his siblings, Sally Woytasik (Barney), Johanna Stankowski, Sylvester Stankowski, Vincent Stankowski (Irene), Alex Stankowski (Regina), Leo Stankowski, Severin Stankowski (Marie), Lucille Stankowski, Mary Stankowski, Marcella Stankowski and Clifford Falkowski.
He is survived by: his friend Paul Elvekrog; his children, Lester (Judi) of Wausau, Judy Barcus (Walter) of Council Bluffs, IA and Patricia Stankowski of Wausau; his siblings, Edwin, Ernest, Dominick of Wausau, Evelyn Nowak of Edgar and Virginia Falkowski of Stevens Point; his grandchildren, Jim Barcus (Dorie), Mike Barcus (Glen) of Council Bluffs, IA, Tammy Gajewski (Mike) of Wausau, Megan Stankowski of Wausau, Mitchell Stankowski (Hailey Haase) of Wausau, Tammy Brown of Stevens Point and Samantha Henke (Ed) of Almond; and also, Larry, Greg and Brian Kolden.
