It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia Fortney of Viroqua, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wedwick and Marie Wedwick; her significant other Connie Fortney (Conrad); her son Jon; and her siblings, Stanley Wedwick, Alice Dahl, Lillian Gunderson, Wilmer Wedwick, Norman Wedwick, Helen Bogie and Arden Wedwick.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Fortney, Chris Fortney of Viroqua and Ann Reed (Craig) of Appleton; her brother John Wedwick of Beloit, WI; and her daughter-in-law Ginny Fortney of Florida. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
