It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherry Getter of Viroqua, Wisconsin, born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on August 14, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis "Buster" and Rita Knutson (Thoreson); her husband Rod; her father-in-law Norman Getter; and her aunt Erling Goplin (Janet).
She is survived by: her son Jerrod Getter (Jenny); her grandchildren, Jenevieve, Juliette, Jessie and Jansen; her daughter Jennie Voter (Craig); her granddaughters, Sarah and Rebecca; her son Jonah Getter (Ashley); her grandchild Jace; her siblings, Sue Knutson, Sandy Knutson, Mark Knutson (Gloria), Mike Knutson and Stacy Knutson; and her aunts and uncles, Harriet Storer, Carol Deaver (Gary) and Connie McGarry (Karen). She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday August 18th from 5-8pm at the Thorson Funeral Home in Viroqua, if attending we ask you to please wear a mask if possible, per state guidelines.
