He was predeceased by: his parents, Andres Macasaet and Petra Arriola Macasaet; and his sister Dr. Perla Macasaet-Kushida (Robert Kushida). He is survived by: his wife Marjorie "Gigi" Weber Macasaet; his children, Dr. Tony Macasaet, Laurie Macasaet (James), David Macasaet (Elizabeth) and Rachel Macasaet-Olson (Christopher); his grandchildren, Emma, Elia and Devdan; and his sisters, Fe Abcede-De Leon and Jojo Macasaet-Williams (Ernie Williams). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and a wide circle of extended family.
