He was predeceased by: his parents, Andres Macasaet and Petra Arriola Macasaet; and his sister Dr. Perla Macasaet-Kushida (Robert Kushida). He is survived by: his wife Marjorie "Gigi" Weber Macasaet; his children, Dr. Tony Macasaet, Laurie Macasaet (James), David Macasaet (Elizabeth) and Rachel Macasaet-Olson (Christopher); his grandchildren, Emma, Elia and Devdan; and his sisters, Fe Abcede-De Leon and Jojo Macasaet-Williams (Ernie Williams). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and a wide circle of extended family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Vosseteig Larson Funeral Home (123 W Decker St, Viroqua, WI 54665). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Viroqua Cemetery (429 Hickory St, Viroqua, WI 54665).
