He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin Bekkum and Amanda Bekkum (Olstad); his wife Garnet Emerson; his sons, Dean (Karla), Kyle (Trish) and Karl (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jonathon (Kristina), Adam (Amanda), Austin, Taylor, Jenna, Claire, Jonah and Caleb; his great grandchildren, Sienna, Zoe and Bentley; his siblings, Audrey, Gloria, Lillian, Trisha, Emily, Sandra, Marvin, Kermit, Danny, Sherman, Tony, Conrad and Peter; and his brother-in-law Gaylord Emerson (Linda). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice in Bob's name.
