He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Ames and Geraldine Ames (Lee); and his parents-in-law, Odean and Darlene Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Karla (Johnson); his children, Kris Ames (Alicia), Jon Ames (Bria) and Katie Johnson (Kevin); his close friends, Andrew'Drew'Hanson, Addison'Addie'Ames, Everly'Evy'Ames, Grayson'Gray'Ames and Mattis Ames; his trusty steed Shomar; his friends, Orin Ames and Lars Ames; and also, Vickie Kumlin (Gary), Maxine Woodhouse, Lisa Willie (Brad) and Steven Ames (Doreen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vosseteig Larson Funeral Home (123 W Decker St, Viroqua, WI 54665). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
