Muriel E. Halverson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2025, at the age of 98, Muriel E. Halverson of Viroqua, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Skrede and Iva Skrede (Cole); her husband Ern; her son Greg; and her siblings, Jean Bergum, Connie Nundahl, Jan Halverson, Leonard Jr. "Toby" and Kenneth.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Thurin (David) and Donald Halverson (Siri); her grandchildren, Chad Thurin (Leah), Melissa Spah (Thomas), Jeremy Halverson (Tracy Engh), Kara Deuhring (Mike), Justin Halverson (Danielle) and Casey Halverson (Cassie); and her brother-in-law Arden Halverson (Lila Mae). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Popp Funeral and Cremation Services (856 S Rusk Ave, Viroqua, WI 54665). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Bad Axe Lutheran Church Cemetery.
