He was predeceased by: his parents, John McGregor and Margaret McGregor; his parents-in-law, Burns and Ruth Morrison; his sister Julie; his daughter-in-law Kathy; and his brother-in-law Tim Moran.

He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Morrison; his wife Sandy; his children, Heidi Sharp (Tim), Todd McGregor and Troy McGregor (Larissa); his grandchildren, JT, Angela, Jacob, Ethan, Sydney, Makenzie, Madison, Slade and Tempe; and his sisters, Carol Brye (Mark), Diny Snow (Tim) and Nancy Buss (Henry). He is also survived by six sisters-in-law and their husbands, (his hunting buddies); many nieces, nephews and cousins.
