She was predeceased by: her husband Fred; her son Frederick Lowell; her parents, Rodney Olson and Madelyn Olson; her parents-in-law, Orvis and Agnes Favor; her brothers, John and Lynn Olson; and her siblings-in-law, Karen Miedema, Mark Giddings, Gary Miedema and Layton Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Frederick Loren of LaCrescent, MN, Mark (Cindy) of Viroqua and Julie Farmer (David); her grandchildren, Megan Torkelson (Scott), Mallory Dolezel (Brad), Barre Mills, Serena Inman (Shane), Frederick Logan and La Crosse; her great grandchildren, Maddox, Kinnley, Katniss Torkelson, Evertyn, Kane Dolezel and Harrison Inman; her sisters, Kristi Karow (Alann), Prudi Gonzalez (Ray) and Shelley Mahklof (Joe); her sister-in-law Pat Thompson; and her sister Arlene Reed. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials should be directed to Eagles Aerie #2707, or to Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Marlene's name.
