He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mahan and Marie Mahan (McAreavy); his mother-in-law Ingvald (Evelyn Paulsrud); his brother Pat; his cousin Donnie Mahan; and his close friend Danny Myhre.
He is survived by: his niece Kay; his uncle Joe; his brother Minneapolis Molines; his wife Ingrid Paulsrud; his daughters, Rachel Zube (Chris) and Shari Mahan-Marx (Mervin); his granddaughters, Lexi Mahan (Collin) and Lydia Marx; his siblings, Bill Mahan (Mary), Norma Yarborough, Peggy Mahan, Mike Mahan (Shirley), Rosie Posey, Gary Mahan, Carol Eick (Roger), Bob Mahan, Raymond Mahan (Debra), Joe Mahan (Sharon), Cathy Messling (Lonnie), Monica Annen (John), Linda Long (Rusty), Debbie Smrcina (Brad) and Mary Jane Synteby; his daughter Jaime Crume; and his pet Bailey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Popp Funeral and Cremation Services (856 S Rusk Ave, Viroqua, WI 54665). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials are preferred with proceeds to help establish a memorial park on his land in Esofea, or to another charity of choice.
