He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Stalsberg and Margaret Stalsberg (Cox); his wife Jayne (Roou); his brother Marlin; and his siblings-in-law, Jody Crume and Jerri.

He is survived by: his son Mitchell Stalsberg of Rochester, MN; his siblings, Arvid Stalsberg of Lincoln and Peggy Crume of Viroqua; and his sisters-in-law, Bev Stalsberg of Janesville and Mary McLees (John) of Stoddard, WI.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
